And that is...?
It's a service that lets people support the artists they enjoy, so they can keep doing what they do best.
I'm using it as a tool to defeat my biggest problem: motivation, focus, and procrastination. I want to write more, but things keep getting in the way. I always seem to have something more important to do. But with this, I'm going to make writing important, so I can finally put priority on it, even when other things beckon.
You can sign up and give me a donation of any amount you choose for every 10,000 words I write. (And you can set a monthly maximum of any amount you choose, to make sure it doesn't break the bank.)
If I don't write, I don't get paid... and that is how I'm going to keep myself writing -- with your help.

Well, I can't deny that's a nice part of it. But really, what I'm truly after is motivation, a deadline, and consequences if I don't follow through. I need some way to light a fire under myself and get myself writing. With your help, this could be it! As things progress, it's my goal to be writing full time... and of course, that means lots of new stories for you -- much more than I put out now.

There are little bonuses to show my gratitude to my supporters. It depends how much you give per 10 kilowords.
$1 Supporters get access to my not-yet-published stories early, plus they get to supply the suggestions for what stories I'll write next.
$4 Supporters get the above, plus they can vote on stories from the list of suggestions to be my next project. At least once a month, they get to decide what I'll be writing!
$10 Supporters get all the above, plus either a one-shot commission with whatever storyline they want, or they can get me to edit a story for them, up to 50 kilowords (as anybody who's had me edit their stuff in the past can tell you, I do a very thorough job). Either one of those can be used once, any time you choose, though there could be a waiting list.
$50 Supporters get all the above, plus plus a signed, original, paper first draft from the selection of all the stories I've ever written on paper. (Or optionally, a signed printed copy of any that were originally written electronically.) The selection of on-paper stories will be limited, and will forever be reduced every time a $50 sponsor signs up, so be quick if you want to make sure you get your favorite choice!
