    Return

Hey guys, it's been a while. I'll keep a long and uninteresting story short. I needed a break, not really from writing, but from life in general. Writing was just one of the many things that had taken a seat during my reprieve. However, things have been getting better over the past two months and I think the time I've taken to myself has been more than long enough. I understand if some of you may

    Update

I didn't want to make a new blog post ever again, seeing as it was at 117 blog posts :P Anyways, I have an update ready to go for chapter three of the Guardian rewrite. I also wanted to mention that I have taken the chapter title from chapter two and am giving it to chapter three instead, as chapter three did not get as far as I intended.

    College

Hey guys and gals! Requiem here. I just spent my first night here at the University of North Dakota. The transition is going well, my roommate and I get along, and my schedule looks ok. The campus is pretty and there's lots to do, especially shopping, in Grand Forks. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the winter though. Snow is something I'm used to as a Minnesotan, but the legendary wind

Meet your yearly quota of, 'stupid teenager does stupid thing'? Check. And news for ROTG! · 2:46am Jun 28th, 2015

For those of you who don't know, I ride my bike everywhere! Well, today I did something stupid one too many times.

Yep, you guessed it, crashed my bike. I popped a long wheelie on my mountain bike for too long, and too fast. Back tire slipped out from under me and I flopped like a fish on the pavement. Ripped up my knees, hands, and popped my shoulder out of place. Luckily, it popped back into place when I landed on it during the second bounce XD I was wearing my helmet (Thank the Lord Almighty as I have only just recently started riding with a helmet. Guess I did something right XD) but I didn't hit my head as my hands took the brunt of it keeping me up. Got back up and rode 5 miles back to my house :P

Yep, even I make mistakes XD At least I know that, while I'm on the cusp of adulthood, I'm still a big dumb kid lol. (To clarify, I did actually bail when the bike went out, and landed on my feet. I'm very quick on my feet and have a great center of balance due to tennis, but the weight of a fully loaded back pack and my racquet bag with gear tipped me over)

Also, to head it off before someone else says it...

*facepalm*

On to other news.

I need a prereader and or editor (My grammar is usually just fine, I'm more in need of someone who can help out with flow and to spitball ideas off of). I feel as though that having one would help out. A lot. Plus faster updates.

Before any of you want to help out, I need to clarify exactly what I'm looking for. I don't need somebody who just wants early access. I really do need help. Now, I don't demand said person to be 'on the ball' and be right on top of things and help right away, nor do I expect it. We all have real lives and need to tend to them. However, if I have a chapter finished or near to and I'm waiting for a month for the help, that's not cool. But it's not like I'm going to ask for a blood contract, k guys XD

Also, if life does bite you and you need to stop pre-reading, either for vacation or for a undetermined amount of time, that's fine :) And, probably the most important thing, kick my ass if I get lazy. Hound me. Batter me.

Please PM me if interested. Hope yall are well, and drive/ride safely out there XD Req out~

So, you heard the song of the sausage creature...

3188851 ... At first, I didn't get it, almost asked, then laughed my ass off. Yes, I'd certainly hope so for my age, else I'd be concerned :raritywink:

Song of the Sausage Creature. I've heard him sing many times.

3188871 Aaaaand I took that way out of context! I can already hear my buds laughing at me lol. Anyways, yes, I have 'heard the call of the sausage creature' on several occasions. Car crashes, faulty machinery, reckless and distracted drivers while I'm riding, guns, people, weather, you name it. I'm young, but I have been around the block once or twice, enough to have a healthy respect for things.

Glad to hear you're okay.

3189144 Thanks XD I'm glad I'm ok too lol

Ah, the helmet. The best friend of a sportsman. I still remember the day my head met too closely a sheet of ice...

3197682 oooh, ouch! Well, being a Minnesotan, I've had my fair share of ice encounters. That's actually how I fractured my tailbone lol.

3197856 Ouch, you have my sympathy :twilightoops: Fortunately I came out from that episode with just some bruise on the back (I guess I have a severe case of dumb luck, one moment I was upright on my skis, the next I was lying on my back observing the clouds)

3198017 Psh, skiing is fun! :rainbowdetermined2:
