Heroes of the Storm and Diablo 3 · 3:42pm Jun 24th, 2015
Good morning folks!
With the announcement of XCOM 2, I recently went full throttle no holds barred marathon gameplay with XCOM Long War. I am now sick of that game and I need to take a break. :S
What has recently caught my attention was some of the upcoming plans for Heroes of the Storm (which I dabble in) and Diablo 3 Season 3, which I have never tried. While I could certainly dive into these games by myself, that wouldn't be nearly as fun as having someone to dive in with. In my experience both games are much more fun when you can coordinate with a friend for complimentary powers and such, and I always have fun theorycrafting such things.
If any folks do either of these things, send me a message here. The last time I publicly posted my Steam ID/PSN, I got a bzillion invites from folks I didn't know, so if folks post their interest HERE, I'll know who I'm inviting. :D
(Also, before you ask, next MM chapter is in process, I'm hoping to post this weekend.)

Edit: For HOTS, I always go against bots. Because if I want to feel crushing defeat, I'd be playing I/I Xcom. :P

For HotS, you pretty much want to have a full team coordinated to be effective. I usually dabble around in bots, so probably won't be that great here. D3 on the other hand I've played quite a bit, but I'll have to dust off the game and update it. I'd mostly be free Friday nights and Saturday mornings, if you're interested.
3177778 ETC went through some massive changes since Beta. His new level 20 of Death Metal is just hilarious even if the entire enemy team is ranged, it just looks so hilarious. Chen's ultimate of the Wandering Keg is also very hilarious. Enemy team running away? Level 20 Wandering Keg which gains 5% movement speed for every enemy hero hit until a 100% cap and has the increased 2 second duration. I love Wandering Keg so much. Wonder if it can cancel Diablo's Lightning Breath?

The pc version makes me sad.
I also got sick of The Long War. I liked the new twists but the part where it really lives up to the "long" part of its name just turned into drudgery for me.
I heartily recommend Battle Brothers as a good alternative. Think of it as if Mount & Blade and Xcom had a cute little baby together.
I'd be down for playing Heroes. I've been meaning to expand who I play with and playing against bots isn't bad. I'm usually free some time after 9pm (eastern that is) most nights though not this Saturday.
Sadly I don't play either of those two.
I play Diablo 3, on occasion. Just rolled a wizard last Monday for Season 3. I work midshift though, so if I'm on, it's usually the morning after work to early afternoon, or late night on my midweek weekend >.>

I've played the beta but haven't touched it in a bit, so I'm down for some cooperative action in HotS. You can only have so much fun with randoms, after all.
Some friends should put a new spin on things. 
This isn't related to HoTS but have you ever tried Company of Heroes 2? It's a RTS with MOBA style elements with a great emphasis on positioning and using your unit's abilities to full effect. I highly recommend you try it out considering is on sale on steam at the moment.

Sweet. I mean in LoL I mostly stay in bots because I can pretty much do what I want, from straight up roflstomping as Sona to a more supportive role, depending on my team. If they ask for help, I do that; if they are jerks, then I leave them well alone and drift to another lane. Not to much difference in HotS. I'll put another message with my account when I get home.

As for what I typically play in Storm of the Heroes, I main Brightwing, Captain Hammer, and Nova
Beam. Yes, I'm one of those people. Might be busy, but send me a PM if you want to set up some playtime. I could use sone more excuses to play that game.I do HotS some, Minitheif here. Nova and Zagara are my gals! Maybe we can work you up to people, if you have friends to play with you can teamwork your way to a sad enemy team!

Played and beat Diablo II with the expansion pack, but that was with a friend I played with: didn't get too into it myself.

I'm afraid Bots are all I'm interested in at the moment. It isn't an exaggeration when I say that if you had me on a team versus humans... you would probably be better with an empty fifth spot. :S

I thought if you wanted to feel crushing defeat, that you go into a StarCraft (1 or 2, it doesnt matter) MP with Koreans as your opponents
