I Regret Nothing (A Minific Competition) · 1:35am Jun 24th, 2015
So, a while back there was a minific competition for the writeoff group, and after talking with my friend Kierkegaard, I decided that I would enter... but not under my own name. I have written anything for a writeoff in a long time, and I thought it would be fun to write under a pseudonym. Eventually that evolved into Kierkegaard and I writing under the same pseudonym, since we realized that there was nothing in the rules expressly forbidding multiple people from entering under the same name. I knew that it probably wasn't kosher, but I also knew that I wasn't going to be winning anything, and so I figured that it wouldn't hurt anyone. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones who decided to have a little fun with the contest, and it ended up starting a whole big crapstorm, which I felt bad about (sort of). I know some people take these writeoffs very seriously, and that's fine. I personally don't, and I never have. I see them as fun little things, and that's it, but that's beside the point. The point is that both Kierkegaard and I ended up with some fairly controversial entries, and on my end I ended up with one of the most viscerally descriptive scenes I've ever written. So, because I was just thinking about this again today, I decided to post these fics under my minific compilation story thing and now I'm making this blog to link them because I have a feeling not many people are actually following Little Magnets... Anyway, here they are. Go read them, or whatever. I dunno.
