Hey everybody! As I write this I'm just about to head to lunch and then the airport. Next stop: Seattle and Everfree Northwest! While there I'll be speaking on two panels:

This panel, taking place Friday afternoon will include LoyalLiar, Dusk Watch, Cloud Hop, GaryOak, all of whom are more interesting than me. We'll be discussing all sorts of interesting things, world-building, collaborative writing, managing complex character webs and timelines, and so much more. Drop by, ask us questions, and hopefully we can give you some ideas that inspire you all to try your own hands (hooves?) at it!
Then, Sunday afternoon, I'll be on Attracting An Audience: The Science of the Feature Box and Story Promotion:
On this panel, hosted by Ocalhoun, Cloud Hop, Xepher, Horse Voice, myself will attempt to weed out what it takes to get your fic into the feature box. We'll talk art, descriptions, tagging, group promotion, and a few other topics as well. Swing by, hopefully it will help you all out, or at the very least provide an hour or so of amusement.
Now last but not least, I'm gonna rip off my friends and co-conspirators LoyalLiar and The24thPegasus by opening up the characters for an AMA. Well, I don’t remember much about Grandpa, but I do remember he once patted me on the head and said “Frosty, I’m going upstairs to buck your Grandma”. See he was just a really honest stallion and he wasn’t about to bullshit a four year old.

Iron Rain:
We had four kids, you figure it out.
Back in Nimbus it we all thought it was pretty funny to kill griffons with their own weapons. I wield this thing better than it’s previous owner and damn better than almost any pony could. It’s not a perfect weapon. Strikes are slow and I need a lot of space to work, that’s why I keep my knife, wingblades, and sometimes I’ll break out my gladius Charon.
Each Rain picks their own storm, and its all based on intuition. Traditionally a pony worthy of the title Rain forms his or her own storm. My father’s included Downburst, my mother, Discentus Celsus, and several other Nimbans over the course of his career.

Hey, yeah, Pathfinder here. Rain heard ‘spider’ and she decided to go find a very high cloud to do ‘recon’ for invading Dioda. I’ll let you know when she gets back.
