I Request Your Input: Which SS:EB Moment Needs Art Created? · 3:14am May 23rd, 2015
Good evening, everyone! I am taking a break from the final read-through of Chapter Twenty-Three of Sunset Shimmer: Element Bearer to pose an important question to you. Several of you have asked me why there isn't fan art of the story, and I can't answer that question to anyone's satisfaction (least of all my own). Being the take-charge individual that I can be on (rare) occasion, I decided to save up a little bit and I am going to splurge on some commissioned art.
The question I'd like to ask all of you is what moment of the first 23 chapters do you want to see brought to life by a talented artist?
I can't say that majority will rule, since it's my decision (and frankly, my money), but I strongly desire your thoughts. I know I value your ideas and input. I may be able to fund two, perhaps three pieces of art before I risk trouble with Mrs. ConningOfficer (who still refuses to read the story, by the way. It's "too wordy.")

I think you're the best judge of which moment needs illustration, but I admit I'd love to see representations of human Discord and Scorpan.
The creation of chainbreaker and the element of redemption. In addition, I'd also like to see art of Sonata and Big Mac's confrontation with Adagio.
Alright, Conning. I suppose it's high time I told you: I have a crossover picture planned between SS:EB and you-know-what (hint: it involves one of my characters and one of your characters standing back to back fighting a horde of enemies. That's all I'm giving you!). However, in order to do the crossover artwork, the aforementioned project has to actually come out first! Which, it's still not ready yet. Still making progress though, ever-so-slowly!
Just something I guess you might like to know. Also, just in case you're thinking of offering to pay: I'm going to decline. It's not a commission, nor do I do commissions (commissions have actual obligations attached, and I'd prefer to be able to take my time, especially since I've a penchant for getting whisked away to another task on a whim). I just do things as I desire, nothing more.
On that note, some scenes that you could probably commission if you so desire:
Their battles against the undead (obviously)
Discord and Raven going head to head
Adagio being motherly with the CMC
The forging of either Chainbreaker or the Element of Redemption
Fluttershy shooting one of those sunburst arrows
Discord dropping accordions on the undead
Raven casting her dark magic
Aria singing into the crystal (during the forging of Chainbreaker)
The Assembly with Coral Aegis
Luna coming to Aria in her dream
Hell, you don't even have to commission something directly from the story itself. Maybe you could have something like Vecna and Leviathan fighting in an epic battle of the gods or something!
Anyway, now you have a bunch of good ideas that you don't know which to choose from, putting you in the same boat as before!

Discord and Scorpan's human forms, obviously the battle against the undead, the forging of either the Element of Redeption or Chainbreaker or maybe even Sunset going One Winged Angel on the undead. It'd be awesome.
