I was thinking, which is a dangerous pastime, and came to the conclusion that Sunset Shimmer: Element Bearer is about to finish its second act. Once that's done, the third act will rush headlong towards the story's climax. Yes, it will take several chapters and an epilogue to finish the story, but getting to this point has caused me to think about the other stories that could be written in this world. Chapter 15 is moving more slowly than I would like, despite two caffeine-fueled writing binges over the weekend. There is one scene in particular that I absolutely must get right. Silly me, I thought that the holidays would be a time where I could make significant headway on Sunset Shimmer: Element Bearer and manage to complete at least two or three chapters. Attempting to juggle work, house guests, family obligations and serving a brief period as Santa Claus destroyed that illusion rather quickly. That said, I am glad that I was able to publish Chapter 12 and ecstatic that it has been received positively. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
