Everfree Northwest Pre-Con Contest

This is my first blog post, and I can think of no better occasion than this to celebrate:
I made Honorable Mention! In a contest with many quality entries, my story made it to the final round and top ten-percent.
It fills me with so much pride and so much joy to see my story place as well as it did.

But who cares about that? If you're seeing this blog, you already knew about that, anyway.

So instead, I would like to take this opportunity to direct you to my personal favorites from this contest that I feel didn't receive proper recognition. Here are my top-five, in alphabetical order by author, then title:

Congratulations on your honorable mention, and thank you so much for mentioning my story here! I'm flattered that you enjoyed it so much. I unfortunately did not get to read your entry as of yet, but after seeing this I feel I would be terribly amiss in not doing so now
