Arrow 18 dramatic reading for Flight Recorder log now up.

It's been a long time coming, but I'm happy to announce that 'A.F.R.T. 11252257:054557' has gone up at Nimbus Productions.

Teaser/Preview: MLBB II: 'Race The Sunset'

Spitfire blinked in relative silence, not sure exactly what to say before the smallest of the three Stalliongrad pegasi jerked his head up, squinting at the approaching dusk.

    She's coming back...

I haven't worked on this story in... Six years?
So I figure... "I really, REALLY need to finish this last chapter. I mean, it's the LAST chapter and it's been sitting for YEARS!"

So I've had the document open, for two weeks now, trying to recapture my 'voice' from six years back.

    Just a random story prompt...

If anyone's interested in writing a 3 to 5 thousand word short, be my guest. But I wanted to write out the prompt of sorts that popped into my head today.

Instant full body flush, just add vitamins...

    Tagging FtFoNR because medical shenanigans...

So, interesting experience today. I'd like to think I know how to handle dealing with vitamins and supplements. I do my research, I check safe doses, antagonists, read warnings.

But sometimes, something just slips through in a moment of complacency.

Why does this remind me of Space Battleship Yamato?

Also, on that tack, are you in the World of Warhships Closed Beta Test?

That looks awesome.

Question...

What is this for? I love the design and everything else, is this for a story you are writing? Or is this for fun? Because that looks AWESOME!!!!

I fkn love airships.

Wait. Is it literally powered by a thundercloud?

Absolutely brilliant.

The Equestrian version of a Habbakuk carrier, with Battleship upgrade. :rainbowwild:

I wonder if its possible to do the Yamoto version, in the fasion of EE Doc Smith, and call it HMS Sunbeam. :trollestia:

Color me intrigued.

This look Cool I think I will try to build it in space ship engineers. The style fits with the game

2996939

Of course it fits. That IS Space Engineers.

Wouldn't be a Battlecloud if it wasn't powered by a storm cloud, right?
The Bulge in the hull on the top is the top of the entire 'cloud chamber'.

It's the logical pegasus solution to creating a flying warship. Wrap a thunderstorm in armor and use it as a power source.

The design specs are simple enough. The underside of the vessel has the largest weapons for bombardment ability. The leaderstrokes are essentially giant electron guns (Lightning cannons). They have enough kick to level a few blocks in a shot. There are smaller supporting deck guns and quad cannons mixed evenly across the underside of the crew belt. On top, the 'ACTIVE' Icicle Cannons are effectively made for countering other cloud ships. Active Icicles ideally penetrate armor and then 'freeze' the impact point, which can tear up an opposing thundercloud-based vessel by making chunks of it inert, frozen blocks. Beltway dorsal weapons are also a mix of the deck guns and quad cannons with some twin turrets for more cloud-to-cloud combat.

The internals can't be seen here, but it's got several entrance areas as well as multiple decks, and even a CiC buried in the core of the cloud chamber. Access to different parts of the ship actually require a bit of twisting and turning and do not have direct access to the outside. Part of the thought to slow boarders. Lots of doors. Lots of choke points into important parts.

I still need to go in and rip up the armor plating internally and replace it with interior plating, and then work on the essential internals, but it's fully functional from a space engies standpoint.

It's like the bastard child of a Helicarrier and a Go'uld ship.

I love the design, and the names you've given to all the systems tell me that you've put a lot of thought into the design and background of this vessel. Those main underside batteries are lightning guns, you mentioned? :pinkiehappy: I so want to see a live fire test!

I can't wait for someone to hack the front turrets, turn them around and shoot out the entire lower deck.
:pinkiecrazy: Haaail Hydraaa.
(Seriously, that can't be good. Rotation limiters can be sabotaged.)

3000770 The image of Pinkie Pie building jet aircraft for a living both terrifies and amuses me! :pinkiecrazy::twilightoops:

Wow nice looking ship. Also did you use space engineers for this? Since the blocks on the ship is similar to what the SE game have.

He did say it was, and most awesomely done. What mods/packs did you use for/with SE?
