Should Alone In The Dark become a series?

So my brother just read the story, and he said that it has some series material. Do you guys think I should turn it into a series or not?

2974690 Okay, I do have a sequel in mind, but it'd probably be more filler than anything, here's the idea I have so far.

Two weeks after the incident at Ponyville hospital, Turbo's cousin Night Star, comes over to Ponyville to stay with Turbo and Mist Dasher for the summer. During which she learns about what happened at the hospital which could've caused her cousin to be eaten alive. She decides to head into the now boarded shut hospital to find files on what turned those ponies on the mental floor into those cannibalistic monsters. Too bad she underestimated their capabilities
