Spring Shake Up · 6:32am Apr 1st, 2015
Alright, I'm going to be candid with you folks, but first I want to establish two things:
1. I am not giving up on writing.
2. I will continue to write clop.
I hope this has removed any concern that the title of the blog may have caused.
Now, I suspect that those of you who have been paying attention have noticed that I typically favor writing concepts that have gotten little attention from other authors. Uncommon pairings, such as SoariLane, or concepts that have not been explored much, such as my very first clopfic, or even Working the Stall, which was moderately successful.
The idea was always to provide people with content that they couldn't find in many other places. That is to say, I'd want to be a writer that strayed from the well-beaten path.
To be honest, I have been doubting that course of action for quite a while now. Though my stories do reasonably well, I find myself wondering quite often if I'm really giving people what they want. After all, a writer's job is to entertain their audience, is it not? While people seem to have responded well to the majority of my stories, I wonder if I could entertain more people by following more popular trends.
So, after a lot of reflection on my part, I have decided that from this point on, I will be attempting to give people what they want, rather than simply writing what I want. In short, I will be making the following changes:
1. The story that I had announced earlier, which some of you may recall was a ThunderMac fic with crossdressing, will not be written. Instead, my next story will be an AppleDash fic in which Applejack finds herself stuck somewhere and is sexually pleasured by Rainbow Dash.
2. I will no longer be writing M/M stories of any kind. As much as I love SoariLane, I must make sacrifices in the name of the larger audience.
3. The only M/F stories I will be writing will be reasonably popular pairings, such as SoarinDash or FlutterMac.
4. From this point on, I will primarily be focusing on F/F shipping and clop, particularly of the inter-mane six variety. You can expect a TwiDash from me in the near future. If demand is high enough, I may even write a RariJack or FlutterDash fic. Possibilities outside inter-mane six include TwiLestia, TwiLuna, OctaScratch, and ShineDance.
5. I am unlikely to be exploring any new or unpopular fetishes in the future. For that matter, I won't be doing anything that could be considered "strange" by the majority of viewers. That means you won't be seeing any tentacles, futa, bondage, incest (including selfcest), or anything else of that nature. For those of you who favor any of those things, I apologize for no longer being an author who will write them.
For those of you having doubts, and I know there must be quite a few of you, I hope to win you over with my future stories. They may not follow the trend of my past works, but I hope that since the quality of my writing remains unchanged, you will continue to read it. If not, then I respect that I am no longer someone you wish to be following, and I wish you good luck in finding other authors that better suit your proclivities.
You cheeky bastard.
I have never seen a Scootaloo x AJ fic of any kind. This is due to the fact that there are no such fics. Any rating would make for an interesting story, mostly due to it would be a genuinely unique ship.
Yes yes... I am totally taking this seriously.
I really hate this day. But, eh.. whatever you write is sure to be awesome.
yeah yeah...i hate this day
Seriously highly very much doubt this isn't an april fools day joke.
But hey, if you start writing more popular ships, that'll be cool. you still write decent clop.
That means no more SoariLane?
HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN TO ME?? I MADE SOME MISTAKES........
April fools
Believed it right up to 'no more m/m'. Ain't no way that's happening.
ERPIR FOORS!
I remember that story. One of my faves.
Happy April Fool's!

Hah! You know me too well.

Hey, going by the ratings, that's what the people want. So, logically, that's what I should be writing!
2933791 Yeah, I knew it was a joke as soon as I read that!
You. You. You terrible person.
I read this recently, so it took me about 5 minutes to notice the April 1st.
