Questions of the Minds #2 · 5:47am Mar 31st, 2015

So I just had another thought enter my head but not as mind numbingly off from my normal state of mind.... of why I love what I do for a living.

What is I do you may ask well thats simiple if you read my BIO or the first blog I posted on this site....

anyway what is that I love about Reviewing, analising, and criticing visual and writen media... well I guess for me its kind of hard to explain in a simple manner.

I love taking in information but some times I try and gather too much information (probably the reason why I don't like going out side all that much go figure XD ) but even in Highschool I would spend my luches in the schools libary going through book after book on the human body, the varrious diagioses, anatomy, and terms used for it. hell I think I went through 60 or so books just on mental and physical disorders. I loved the information hell I even looked into varrious college level refferancing materails on the human mind and its varrious ways of thinking.

Even then that wasn't what I was even caring about it was the fact that information is power even what I heard about bronys and pegasisters what ever you want to call your selfs I used my way of thinking to analise your fandom to its most basic forms a group of people that just like a show. (though originaly it just started out as a way of trolling on 4chan to get people mad) as far as I could dig with my knowledge but that wasn't enough for me I had to get more data more information so I looked into the art, music, video's, animations, books, and even the verry creed that the fandom uses "love and tolerate" hell not many fandoms can be as hypocritical within there own group but some how you people got me thinking.

For as much as you all fight within your fandom I found that its just a squable over what is truer to the show's cannon or who has the better work "horse fame" as some have called it. But its the work that is displayed that shows the true power of the brony/pegasister fans.

Honestly you give the show a run for its money so much so that Hasbro has got to the point of CDC notices on some of the fandom it self. Which just goes to show how talented the fans are of the show. Not to mention all the games, Fan fictions, blogs, news articals, websites, music, videos, conventions, hell even full length fan animated episodes.

The amount of tallent is stagering but thats just the tip of the Ice berge so to speak the amount of good that the bronies and pegasisters have done is just as stagering if not more so.

For as much as I am not a member of the Brony/Pegasister fandom it still drags me in to find out how the hell such a show as My little pony bombed its last generation to renew its own franchise into something that I don't think even the head of the new series Luaren Faust could have even came close to predicting what happened.

Though it makes me wonder what happens when the series stops airing new episodes, the last movie is released, the final comic printed. Doest the fandom make its own episodes or does it stick together like contact cement or even a hydrogen bond and just keep on kicking... its hard to say cause fandoms have come and gone few have stood the test of time.

Either way it turns out it will be a interesting out come and the data collected is invaluable it just goes to show just cause its a little kids show the amount of talent it can produce is enormous.

So why do I like what I do for a living.... I guess I just don't have the answer my self other than the imformation I can dig out of what I review, analise, and look at... sometimes even a wise man won't have the answer to their own questions or even yours.
