It all started with this thread about whether or not we ought to mark the Foalcon Group as not safe for work (NSFW).
If you really care why, then go read that thread.
TL;DR: We're hoping to maximize exposure for the original SFW group while giving people a place to talk about explicit stuff and directly link to Mature on-site fics.
In any case, assuming you care for more explicit discussion (whether lurker or active member) and you don't like to have to constantly break and fix links to on-site mature foalcon fics, go join our second foalcon group, make a post, suggest how to make it better, or what name you think would fit best, etc. in our welcome thread.
