New story on this two-for-one Saturday!

Yes, today is a busy double-header for me.

First off, I just published a new short little story I've been working on for a few days now, called "Griffon it Another Try". It's my entry for the Everfree Northwest 2015 pre-con writing contest. This one's something a little different for me. It sort of serves two purposes - one, I've sort of on and off wanted to write something with Gilda, but I was never sure exactly what, and I didn't know if I wanted it to be a major, long-drawn project, so a short 3,000 word max piece like this is perfect. Two, I've never felt like I have any kind of solid grasp on characterizing Pinkie Pie. She's by far the weakest of the Mane 6 for me to write, so I wanted to take the challenge of working on improving that. This really helped, I think!

The second part - it's Saturday, which of course also means it's update day for Ghost Lights! The new chapter will be getting published in a little while later on. Chapter 26! I can't believe it. At a new chapter every week, that means it's been six months since I started publishing this story. Over that time, I've gotten a lot of comments and a lot of readership for it, and it's all very, very appreciated, so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's been a part of that so far.
