Should I? · 4:31pm Mar 14th, 2015
Hello there fellow Spike the Dragon fans! I'm doing this blog to decide whether I should include poetry in the upcoming chapters of The Fall of Spike the Dragon, whether it be in the Author's Notes or if they should be used as intermissions. I'll really appreciate all of your suggestions. This is a chance for me to try to boost my creativity and delve deeper into the world of writing. Here's a sample of one I made recently:
Hollowed tree
Filled with love,
Memories, care and warmth
Standing strong
Against the elements
Of nature that is harsh
Hollowed tree
You’ve grown tall
Filled to the brim with joy
Always there
You haven’t left
Like everyone else
Hollowed tree
You’re my rock
Others just can’t see it
Wilting fast
Slowly being emptied
Grayed from mistreatment
Now gone
Not to return
Still suffering after death
Yes, yes you should.
2876357 Thank you!
2876364 this reminds me of another poem. What was it called?
2876577 Not sure which poem you are referring to. Sorry.
I'd say go for it, though I'd limit the ones you put in the story to those that relate to it. Anything else you come up with could be put at the end of blog posts.
2876645 Yes, of course. It must be related to the story, otherwise it wouldn't fit in...
