Chapter 4 is finally ready! · 10:32pm Feb 18th, 2015
Well, after countless rewrites, fixes, and editing sessions, I'm finally ready to release chapter 4. I'm sorry again for the delay, a lot happened, between reworking existing chapters for EQD, the addition of Alptraum Mond to my regular proofreader team, (He's been a great help in overcoming some of the issues with the prologue in particular) and a lot of chapter 4 just not being very good. Getting this to a point where I'm satisfied with it took a lot of time. One thing I can say, I feel like I'm a virgin no more. I think this is the first time that I truly taste what it's like to rework part of a story so many times just thinking about it makes me sick.
In other news, I updated chapter 1 (the Applejack one) a few days ago. The changes are fairly minor and I don't think it's necessary for any of you guys to read it again. As usual, here's an idea of the story progress.
Prologue and chapter 1: reworked and uploaded, hopefully I won't have to touch them again.
Chapters 2 and 3: They're still on my to do list. Based on the changes I made to the Applejack chapter I feel like it shouldn't be too bad.
Chapter 4: I just released it.
Chapter 5: Galrion finished proofreading it and I made the appropriate changes, now it's off to Alptraum Mond for his take on it.
Chapters 6 and 7: They're both waiting for proofreading.
Chapter 8: I'm about 2500 words into the first draft.
Total fic completion: 17.71%
