Another month, albeit the shortest of the year. I still haven't had a chance to get into the process side of my writing and write that detailed plan for the year, been too busy writing a novel. Guess that's a good problem to have.
That's actually what was holding me back from posting this. Unsurprisingly, it's much less exciting to fix grammar mistakes on something old than write something new. I was afraid that, if I didn't start with the sequel, it would never get published. I'll post another blog entry when my revisions on MLA are done, to let you (and anyone else who cares) know.
2807987 If you've read MLA all the way through, you should be safe to pick up with MLA: Apogee. You might want to skim chapter 16 of MLA to get a feel for where the story is, then jump to Apogee. The changes I'm making periodically to the original MLA are just going to be error corrections and minor improvements, nothing anyone should notice or that will effect the story's progression. Those sorts of changes only happen with Apogee and beyond, where almost all of the original content that came after 16 has been scrapped (I think I salvaged one chapter spread out over the course of all of Apogee).
It's a sequel, it takes place after all of MLA (and possibly other stories) are over. It's got plenty of problems for me to fix too, but that's a struggle for another time.
Does this mean that the full edits and cuts are done on MLA? I wanna download the updated .epub for my offline archive.

Okay, so, as someone who read only MLA so far, where should I start? Or did you change so much, that I should re-read the whole thing?

Okay, got it.
One more question: is Harmony Defended a part of the trillogy then, or just a sidequel/spoinoff/alternate route?

In that case I'll leave it for after you finish The Trillogy and I read it.
Thanks for the answers.
