Plot Feedback · 3:14am Feb 14th, 2015
So David in Equestria got some steam and plowed through a plot arc like a runaway train. Now that it's basically wrapping up, I'm dying of curiosity to hear from my readers how it went. What went right, what could have been done better, that sort of thing. I made up some canon along the way that made sense to me, and, as per usual, had no idea how this would all resolve until the letters hit the paper and I hit submit.
A Dangerous Sparkle gets plenty of feedback on the fly (Which I love! Please keep that up! You guys make me so happy!), but DiE is often a quieter place in the comment section that leaves my insecurities to fester and boil in dissatisfaction.
Eager to Hear from Everypony,
David
To be honest, I was mostly just reading this one because I really liked your other story, A Dangerous Sparkle. That being said, the changeling arc was good, really good. I'm looking forward to seeing more David in Equestria.
2796036 Thanks for the kind words. I'm having a different sort of fun with each story.
I must say, even though I have never heard of you before tonight I am enjoying Dave in Equestria. I don't like that you made him half pony and would have preferred if you just left him with a tail and maybe ears, but you're the author and I didn't find this before tonight so I'll just have to live with it. Aside from that I have no complaints, no gramatical errors to report, though I do have a few ideas you might want to take off my hooves -- and not just for DiE. I'll give you the ideas tomorrow if you respond to this.
Also... would I be able to use this premise for my own version? I mean the whole "guy goes on walk, finds himself in a void of some sort, goes to Equestria with a 'it's too dangerous to go alone, take this!', and appears near his OC's hometown".
2819445 I would be flattered and delighted to spawn a 'universe' as it were.
The episode before David had his change somepony suggested centaur. That felt a bit too far though, so I cut the difference with pony satyr.
2819603 a centaur would've put me off, I'm glad you went with satyr then.
I'll send you some of my ideas by PM sometime today.
