As some of you know, Equestria Daily ran another friend off, where artist draw scenes from stories, or writers write stories off of pictures. It's pretty cool.
Out of curiosity, I looked at the result posts to see what stemmed from this creative collaboration. To my immense surprise and delight, I saw this:
Needless to say, I squeed just a little bit. It's not quite how I pictured the Tempest Crown in my head, but I like it! And I love seeing Vesper and Twilight's magic fighting for it.
So, hooray for the friend-off! Seeing a picture based on my story just made my great day even better!
And as I just found out two seconds ago, the artist also made this a while back:

Congrats to you. I just checked and no, there were no pictures of paint drying as I hoped there might have been. Also, I really hope you get this reference.
I'm glad you appreciate the art and that it has made you happy! Your story has really inspired me, the kind of character you have portrayed through Sunset and the turmoil she has to face with all odds stacked against her is something I find incredibly interesting. I hope you know that you've created something really special when it comes to this tale.
