I know my blogs don't get that many views, but for those of you still interested in my writing, I've got some good news.
The second chapter of Hawkeye Delicious is almost complete. Given my state of mind and mood over the past few months, it may not be very good; but I'm hoping you all will read it anyway. After I get that out, I will work on the next chapter of Terminus, alternating between the two until Terminus is complete. After that, I will begin work on one of these new stories:
War Horse - a war fic kind of like Titanfall and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with ponies. It sound silly and stupid, but I haven't written a war fic in a while, so I figure I might as well do it. Plus I don't want the awesome story art that TNaB made for me to go to waste.
Shiverland - this one stars Big Macintosh and is inspired by The Long Dark. It will involve survival, snow, and sadness. That's about it.
Usurped Dawn: Operation Jericho - I promised this one a LONG time ago, and it's gone through many, many changes. Thought Usurped Dawn is one of my most-viewed stories, I consider it to be one of my worst. I don't think it's horrible, but I think it could have been a lot better. So I've decided to write a sort-of re-imagining of the original story, expanding on some elements from the original and adding in a bunch of other new stuff. At this point it actually might have nothing to do with the previous story at all, except for the title. But we'll see. By the way, a lot of it is inspired by Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, one of my all-time favorite games.
There's a whole bunch of other stories I'm going to write in the future: Terminus: Priority One, The Blunderbolts, Markiplier Saves Equestria, and more. But if there are any stories I've mentioned here that you like and/or want to see, let me know. I appreciate your feedback.
In the meantime, look for the next chapter of Hawkeye Delicious, coming soon!
I typically won't check out the stories of people I know in the forums. There are people that I'm interested in reading, or just curious as to what their writing style is like, but that's actually quite a bit of people, and I tend to only read when I have the urge to binge. I'm not going to make any promises that I can't actually keep.
Are these three the major WIPs you got going on now? I've been writing three long-fics offline, but I've been doing so for the last two years. Not having anything finished kind of burns me up, and I refuse to start posting chapters until I have a story completed. I've been mentally torturing myself for the last two years.
My first reaction to a Call of Duty fic is to groan, but when I think about it, how i feel about the series has nothing to do with how you write it. Besides, COD is actually a pretty good game series. It really only makes me groan because of the hype, If it weren't for that, I'd have no negative feelings for it.
