ER250 Progress Update · 2:24am Jan 24th, 2015
It's been a while since I have discussed Empress Rarity's 250th Birthday. I want to assure you that I am working hard and diligently on it and that I have not forgotten about it. The current plan is to finish Chapter 13, the Party, and a epilogue to lead into the sequel by the end of this weekend. Then it's off to the golden hands of Autumnschild. Once these are completed, I want to release a chapter every week. During that time, I might work on the sequel or on a different work and get that out the door too.
Ohh, ER250 is currently being purged in a Holy Grammatical Campaign by Razalon The Lizardman, and by pterrorgrine. Massive thanks to them. They are currently tackling grammatical issues and helping to find typos and errors that Autumn and I missed. I think one of the most interesting things that I've learned about my writing in this process, is that I use a ton of em dashes (well suppose to be, I keep using that shorter dash line). Like, an uncomfortable amount. So in the future, I hope to limit their usage. Story wise, it hasn't changed, it just looks better, like a lot. The story might be done with it's grammar cleansing by the time the story updates again.
This is also my last semester before I graduate from school. It is sadly not the last since I plan to keep ranking up with my nursing degree, but this is the milestone. Classes are not nearly as bad as they were last semester, but I have to make some big decisions in a few months on where to work, live, and where to advance my degree from. In all of this stress time, I'm taking a Creative Writing class, where we have some assignment every week. I am hoping to get better with writing in this, incorporate a few new skills that I am learning. If I do a story that I feel I can ponify, then I'll launch it as a one-shot.
That's pretty much what is going on, aside from changing my user page. Fun stuff.

Thanks for the update! I've been looking forward to the next chapter of your story, and perhaps to finally find out what happened between Rarity and Celestia.
