Hey guys, just letting you all know that I'm not dead and still working on the story. I asked a friend of mine with more writing experience to help me with the earlier chapters, but he hasn't had the time to get to it yet. I'm considering releasing new ones as I feel they're ready and possibly reworking them in the future, it'll all depend how long my friend takes to get back to me. What do you guys think? Should the story go on hiatus or is the current quality acceptable for release?
So here's the current status of the chapters I'm working on.
Chapter 4: I had a long discussion with my proofreaders about it and we found a lot of stuff that doesn't work. It's getting some major changes, including the complete removal of a subplot and it's associated support character. Chapter 4 is a Captain Silvermane POV and does need some extra work so my own OC can stand her own next to characters like Rainbow Dash or Rarity.
Chapter 5: It's undergoing proofreader feedback, no changes since my last update.
Chapter 6: I gave it a round of editing and it's at the stage where I feel I've done what I can on my own and need proofreaders to look at it.
Chapter 7: First draft is complete, I've gone over it once and made a few fixes but for now, i'll leave it for later.
Total fic completion: 17.86%. This doesn't take into account the planned changes to earlier chapters, as I haven't updated the formula.
Other then that, Nekotigerfire posted more pages for her comic adaptation, find them here. If anything this comic is a motivation for me to write, I wouldn't want her to catch up to me, lol.

As usual, any feedback is welcome. I've submitted the fic to a few review groups but these things being what they are, it takes a long time for anyone to come back and there's always the risk they get overwhelmed and the group just shuts down. Anyway, I'll try to keep posting little updates like that, let you guys know what I'm doing.
