[Reversal of Fortune] Status Update · 6:19am Jan 15th, 2015
Hey guys! Long time no see! Happy 2015 to everybody!
I just wanted to give a little update on what's going on with my side of the internet and the story and whatnot. So let's get down to it.
As of now, I'm 5,403 words into the next chapter for Reversal of Fortune, and I've been debating back and forth for the last few days on whether to publish it as is, or extend it further.
Either way, it's not done yet, as I need to do some more editing, reread it at least another 20 times, and check with a few friends on this site for their opinions, because nobody here volunteered to be a pre-reader. (bluh)
And, I have a bit of a confession.
The story totally went in a completely different direction than I had originally planned, and now I'm trying to roll with it as best I can because I already published the previous chapter! =D
Yeah, Ryan was never supposed to leave Canterlot and go back to Ponyville. I got carried away when I was writing the last chapter and it just kinda happened, and I (for some reason) never checked my chapter summaries to make sure I stuck to the plan. But hey, it's not like it's worse because of it. It's just different.
But yeah, that's about it for now. No hints as to what's happening next, you'll find that out within a week!
