The Life and Times of a Winning Pony
And I found the main protagonist sinfully irresistible.
So, I powered through that fiction over the course of two days. Yeah, all 361,449 words of it. I won't say I regret it, because I don't, but let's just say for everything that fiction does amazingly, I find a few more than a few flaws with it. Let's just say the romance part of it can drag on for a long time. Not uncomfortably long in a good way, but more of the "yeah, I get it" way. For all it's faults though, I can safely say this is a brilliant piece of work. It's something I would recommend to hell and back. When I get a job again, It'll be one of the fictions I'll look into getting a physical copy of if there is an option for it.
I'm not going to review it. It's not a fiction I plan on rereading to gather my thoughts on. However, it did put the whole "Banging, Banging Everywhere" picture I saw when looking through Cloud Kicker content. I was actually going to use Cloud Kicker in a project I'm working on with a friend, but after reading that... I still want to use a polyamorous pony, that's nothing new, but I couldn't bring myself to use Cloud Kicker, not when there is a whole "winningverse" out there with a rather large following. That and I don't think I'd be able to do her justice. I don't even want to try knowing that it would draw parallels and unintentional references. Chengar Qordath doesn't have a monopoly on nympho-Kicker, but I know a landmine when I see one. He's got 2,563... er wait *click* 2,564 followers for a reason.
Anywho, that project won't even be here on FimFiction most likely, but I will at least advertise it if we ever get it going. Any who, just wanted to share my thoughts before going back to work on Unraveling. And I mean really get to work on it. New editors on the way and I need something for him to look at rather than me just writing one-shots to stall while I try to sort character changes out.
You say that like Winningverse!Cloud Kicker isn't pretty much canon at this point as far as the fandom is concerned.
Actually you COULD but you need to be faithful to the character.
Like she is here in the story Blue Angel. She certainly added a bit of spice that's for sure.

Yeah, I'd be using her as a side character with not much focus on her at all. There's no need to draw parallels that could be seen a negative light. I didn't even know Winningverse was a thing until very recently, and I've had the idea for several months now.

In that case, you could just a background thing, or a small allusion to her that would be understood. Your call though.
