Ch 12 and 13 are in the final editing phase. I'll post them Monday or Tuesday as a set.
Ch 14 is roughed out, 15 is at the 50% mark. I think they will be ready week after next, also as a set.
After that, it's going to be quiet for a while. I have an odd sort of job that puts me on the road 8 weeks at a time, with 2 weeks off in between. The good news is that I do my best writing on the road. My writing time is much more defined, and I have little to distract me.
My vision for this story takes it to about 25 chapters, give or take a few. 2,500 will be my target word count for each chapter. I'm going to get a rough draft for the rest of the story finished, before I start the second draft / editing process. Then I'll get the chapters up as fast as their finished. In short, after ch 15 is posted, there won't be any new chapters for about 2 months, then the rest of the story will get published.
Sounds good, its a interesting story and I am curious what his backstory is, you've managed to keep quiet on that front so far....

Awww, disappointed we have to wait that long for the rest of the story, but it makes up for being a great story.
While I'm disappointed that I'll have to wait for a while for an update as this story is slowly creeping up as one of my top five with each chapter, I appreciate we all have lives and as such they get in the way of such things. Thank you so much for letting us know though, as some authors just leave fics for an extended period of time with no warning or explanation
If I might say though, don't force yourself to write while on the road, as the content could possible come out feeling rushed and not comparable to your current quality. Though I won't complain either way
