I'm celebrating the holidays by shaking off my dry spell, and it feels good. It's been a long Fall, and it hasn't been at all bad. Actually, it's been pretty good in every respect except the writing. I did spend most of October and all of November watching words refuse to appear on the screen whenever I opened Google Docs, but other than that it was a great Fall. And the dry spell is over.
I'm celebrating with a Hearth's Warming story staring Quizzical. Some of you may remember I warned you last year that I planned to write a ponified "It's A Wonderful Life." I'm writing that now. Wonderful
I did frame my dry spell with a couple of stories. Even though I thought I would never I'd do it again, I wrote another horror story. A Little Game Of War. I also wrote the last sequel I ever imagined I'd write, I wrote a follow up to Our Little Accident (which is about the only alicorn I ever want to create, but I can't seem to use a good OC just once).Ordinary.
What I haven't written is a new chapter of Basements of Doom. A few of you noticed that. Sorry. Let me reassure you, Basements is not dead. There's actually about a thousand words of chapter 10 written. Finishing it is the next thing on my list after I finish Wonderful. That is not a promise. I've already broken a few of those, so I'm not making promises again. I never expected to get this far behind; I sincerely hope not to fall any further behind. I will be giving Indy fans their fix, soonish.

Woooo. Well, seeing as how the hiatus has spawned another cute Quizzical all holiday story I am hardly going to complain.
Heck, it even came with a side order of adorable friendshipping to start.
