This is a little overdue, but I have of course finally posted Loyalty, the sequel to A Gentledrake and His Lady. I've been slowly working on this for a long time, every now and again adding a couple of sentences or a paragraph. I'm going to try not to take quite as long with the second chapter, which I'm not very far through.
Anyway, I should probably say something about the story itself. Obviously it's a SpikeDash (awesome ship) which is a lot of fun to write. I'll admit that I don't have the entire thing planned out. I know roughly how it's going to end and a few little bits that might happen, but other than that I'm basically winging it. It's all going to be from Spike's perspective as it focuses over his inner conflict over Rainbow and Rarity. There's also going to be a little sub-plot about AJ and Pinkie after what happened (kisses <3), but I'm not going to spend too much time on that. If you don't like that kind of stuff, it'll be mostly in the background.
