New Story: Simple Affections · 5:35pm Jan 29th, 2014
So yesterday I posted a new one-shot, 'Simple Affections', as I'm sure you've all noticed by now. It's the rather unusual ship of Fleur de Lis and Big McIntosh, from now on called Mac de Lis (yes, I'm naming it). This was written for the Random Romance January contest, which is why the pair is rather out of the blue. There's only a few days left, but I decided I wanted to participate, so I sat down and typed out the story before I went to bed. To be honest, it's not my best work, and I think the ending seemed rushed, but quite a few people have found it enjoyable, so I guess it was a success. I'll be throwing my hat into the February contest as well, once it starts, so look out for that.
I'm still dedicating most of my time to Flying Without Wings, as I posted a new chapter not too long again. I'm thrilled with how popular (it's popular for a small writer like me) it's become, and I hope it continues to please all the readers of it. I hear it was in the popular stories column at some point. Well, let's see if this thing is good enough for that, hmm? If you've favorited it, go ahead and like as well. If you don't mind, it's very helpful.
Oh, and the new avatar? I found this little cutie and I just had to use it. I personally think it looks a lot better than my last one did, don't you?
