As the title implies, I have finally reached a total of 50 followers. This is a great achievement for me, as 50 is basically the first milestone of every small, growing author. Of course, it wouldn't have been possible without all you awesome people deciding my stories were good enough for a watch. So I want to reward you. I'm talking about a story, although probably only a one-shot because I've got a few projects I need to do. I don't have any particular ideas, but I'm open for suggestions. Once I've decided, I'll get started and hopefully post it soon. Once again, thanks to you all, and I hope you enjoy this special whenever it comes out.
Congratz!
But a oneshot?
Hmm... how about...
A TwiDash? Maybe show me the light?

TwiDash? I remember I had this huge adventure fic for those two planed out at one point, but I don't know if I'd have the time to do it. I could try to do a short story of them. Anyway, one-shot because I've got two contests (one I'm already working on) and a sequel to write, all of them multi-chapter. So... don't want too much pressure. But that TwiDash adventure will happen at some point in the future, when I have no contests or anything else I have to be doing.
Maybe a small Twinkie?

I could do Twinkie. It's one of my favorite ships for sure.

Twinkie's also good. I also like that ship, although I swear I seem to deconstruct ships a lot of the time; my one idea for this ship is a complete deconstruction fic. That's mainly because I lived with two girls who are so akin to Twilight and Pinkie, it's unreal.
Needless to say, their relationship didn't quite work out. They were best friends before and they're best friends now, but I can still see needles in their eyes.

Just remember this is ponies. We can make whatever we want to happen happen in our stories.
Anyway, so far I have requests for Twinkie and TwiDash. Unless something else comes along, I can see what I might end up doing... Still just brainstorming here.

Stories about ponies are stories about people. Of course we can make whatever we want happen in our stories, but we should always limit ourselves to what the characters want to do. Remember that they have motives, dreams, morals, beliefs and ideals too.

Of course.
1778946 Were there more similarities between these girls and ponies besides introverted/extraverted behavior?

While their personalities do not exactly match up, I can certainly draw up a lot of similarities beyond the introverted and extroverted. (Although I actually think that calling Twilight and Fluttershy introverts is neglecting the definition of an introvert a little).
One friend I met at school. She kept to herself a lot and usually kept her nose deep inside books. She stresses out a lot over exams, even though she's a capable girl. That mainly stems from the fact that her mum is exactly the same and she takes after her a lot. She really likes animals as well and wants to be a vet. Being a vet requires high grades, though, so she spends lots of time studying. Her parents pay for private tutors to come to her house and help her study. Both her parents are doctors so they have no problem with that, although she rarely sees them because they're at work so much, so I kind of feel that she must feel a little neglected, even if they love each other a lot and spend time together.
My other friend I met at college. She's really really loud and kind of obnoxious sometimes. She's a nice person, though. The big problem is that her family aren't very stable and she was pretty neglected as a kid, so she came over to live with us for a little while. This means she suffers from anxiety though, so occasionally she can get really upset. She struggles to really talk to people about those problems though. She has a counselor, but she just can't bring herself to tell her how she feels. The rest of the time she's really happy, though. She always gushes about what she wants to buy people for their birthdays. She can't wait until BUCK because I promised her I'd cosplay in a dress. I'm unsure of whether she actually intends to go to that, though; she's not the best at sticking to / remembering promises.
The two of them became instant best friends, the latter really bringing the former out of her shell. They hung out every day, marathoned Harry Potter, Adventure Time, everything. They slept in the same bed together. They were like sisters, only my first friend (I should really name them...) told my second friend that she liked her. So they dated. Things were going well.
That is until after a few weeks that I realize that not everything is going peachy. The problem is that my first friend has this ideal of what a relationship is - that being what she reads in her books. She starts talking about how they're going to get married and one day have loads of cats and stuff. My second friend tried to sort of accept it, but her anxiety was getting to her. After a while she said she needed some space. My first friend doesn't take this too well. She starts getting sad and blaming herself, saying that she can do things differently. This only makes my second friend feel worse... things just escalate from there.
Eventually my second friend just says "Look, let's just be friends for now, okay?"
My first friend agrees. They still live together, they still sleep together.
I know needles when I see them. When my second friend finally decided to move back out, my first friend started begging her to stay; she wasn't over her. Not even close.
That's the story, it's not a happy one. Hell, it isn't even my own to tell. It's still one of the main reasons I ship Twinkie, and one of the main reasons of why I destroy the ship when I ship it.
Congrat on that
