The Blind Leading The Blind is a story about a blind pegasus filly listening in on the gossip of some of the mares from Ponyville. It's an exclusively dialogue story and quite possibly my favorite story I've written so far.
Personally, I didn't come on FIMFiction to get a lot of attention or anything like that but because I wanted to write stories and improve. But I was wondering if anyone had any groups they think it would be a good idea to add this story to or just for me to join in general, so I thought I'd post a blog and see if anyone responds.
So, is there any groups you think I should add this story to or any I should join in general?

The fic has quite a low number of views by the look of it. Why not check and see if it fits the criteria for consideration in the Seattle's Angels group and get somepony to write a recommendation for you?
2604804 As far as I can tell it does, less than a thousand views and such. I don't know who would put it on there though and I'm definitely not going to self-promote it. I don't think my heart could take that.
I don't think I've looked at the Seattle's Angels page before now. I am now more informed on that at least.
2604848 You aren't actually allowed to self promote stuff on there. They won't consider any of your work ever again if you do. You need somepony who has previously favourited the fic to write a recommendation to the mods. They kindly even give you a template of what they want:

I'll definitely keep Seattle's Angels in mind (right now I can't tell who favorited it I don't know if it tells me somewhere other than in the notifications once it happens).
Do you have any other groups you're fond of or think I should know about?
2604914 There's also Scribble's Archives. Though that is more of a catch all group for ease of locating fics. If you're trying to up your view count, then I'd say leave the groups alone and focus on faves. According to quite a few FiMfiction staff I spoke to at BUCK this year, good fics tend to spread by being on a lot of users favourites list rather than on lists.
2604928 Makes sense. How would I get more faves? I'm working on improving but I'm not an expert writer yet.
2604987 Updating a fic at the right time goes a long way. When I added a chapter at 12AM GMT I only got a couple faves compared to five or six two to three hours later. A few hours later the site is busier so more users see you on the front page. That means more people have a look and maybe fave. Having a striking cover pic and interesting description also helps.
