Hey, this is ErraticOverlord's friend. He wanted me to send out this blog post because he broke his arm while doing something stupid, so he's at the hospital and away from a computer.

I've been completely flat on my back sick for the last several days, so I haven't been able to finish the next chapter of SMU and me, yet. You can expect it in the next few days, but I'm really sorry I haven't been able to do it.

I think it's some combination of my allergies, and the flu that's left me stumbling around and occasionally awake enough to write. Thankfully, I'm getting better but I'm really sorry I didn't make it to the update today.

And that means an update! On Just SMU and me.

I'm going to put the chapter up a bit later today because I woke up very sick, but I'll be darned in lead socks before I give up on updating every Wednesday one week after I gave the proclamation I would.

Just be warned that the last bit of the chapter might be completely nonsensical, so you should tell me if that happens.

So some of you may have noticed my sudden disappearance, followed by prolonged absence. The short version of this is that I had quite a lot of things to do and, when they were finished, suffered from horrible writer's block, partly brought on by my complete disappointment in trying to watch the fourth season.

I'm very sorry for the wait, but after getting about halfway through the next chapter I just stopped and went.

So I scrapped it and started the chapter over. The good news is I like the new chapter much better and I'm making more progress on it. The bad news is this will delay the new chapter even more.

The chapter was pretty good, but with all the time it took for me to find cover art and everything, I think I posted it mostly without reading what it said, being happy just to have it out there.
