So you know how in Equestria there are familiar locations that correspond with our own world's, only named through horse puns?
Like Prance for France,
Baltimare for Baltimore,
Manehatten to Manhattan,
and Saddle Arabia to Saudi Arabia?
Considering given what is to come in chapter 9 of PMC Part 2, I really need help with an Equestrian name for Italy or places in Italy, and I humbly seek your assistance.
Most I got so far is Stables for Naples.
Trying to think of others though, like Venice, Rome, Turin, Milan or even Regions like Sicily.
Please help.
Hmm.... Well... For Rome I could see Romane? It KINDA works on two levels. One, it has a horse reference and two it sounds like Romaine AKA Romaine lettuce which considering ponies are predominantly herbivores(Personal head canon of mine is that like real world horses they CAN eat meat, but it's not all THAT common), seems fitting.
I think Italion would be istallion , but for Italy I can't think of anything

Yeah. Thing is I'm working on Gold Lance (I.E. Oria (Italian for Gold), the blonde pony). Dude's Italian, and I'm trying to come up with a decent Place in Italy from where he comes from. On top of that, the Italian origin gives him ample ground to act like a pompous, high and mighty, douche bag who sees Dante's fighting as unnecessarily over the top and impractical.
Yeah. I'm going with that. If I'm going to make a character, I'm at least going to give him a distinguishing personality to expand on and help grow, unlike so many other bland or blank slate OCs.
None of this "Being a second Dante" or "Being an unwarranted badass"
Just a practical guy who gets in over his head and gets a constant reality check from Dante and the girls.
