Six months ago, I submitted the first chapter of Amor Fati to the public. Six months later, that same story is nearing 1,000 views and is my best story on this site and probably ever worked on.
Usually I would've have waited to see if AF could reach 1,000 views to post something like this, but it's a special day! Six months have passed already and I can't believe how much things happened since! Since working on AF, I gained at least 50 followers and some really cool friends! I even got to help out on stories by these same people! Of course, some of these people helped me with AF too, so I thank you for helping an amateur writer out. All of you are special to me in some way or another.
I know 800 (even 1,000) views with 50 likes isn't really that impressive after six months, but seeing how the story involves certain, disliked areas in the fandom (like Equestria Girls, OCs, Trenderhoof?), and I have a measly 71 followers (I 
all 71 of you!), I'm pretty happy at the general outcome. Every time I go back to read a chapter, I always see those lovely comments about the ending and I smile, mostly because knowing you wrote a decently lengthy story that people stuck with and enjoyed as much as writing it, is a wonderful feeling. Because of these comments, AF will probably remain my favorite story.
With that being said, AF has been finished for nearly 3 months now (
), but I usually get asked a certan question every week:
"Will there be a sequel?"
Heh. I wouldn't hate writing a sequel. The EqG world is an awesome world to write in as not a lot has been said about it. There's probably still plenty of things I could write about. But I'll ask you guys, since you are the fans.
If there was a sequel, what would you like to see? What would you want me to write about? What would you not want to see? Let me know. Maybe one day you'll see a story return.

Now then, truth be told, I'm not one of the advocates for an AF sequel. I feel that you told everything that needed to be said, and trying to expand on something that is already complete is a common and dangerous pitfall. It certainly can be done well, but typically isn't. But if you decide to write one anyway, you'll have my full support.
2564546 Yeah, that's the main problem I face. I have no clue what to write if there was a sequel. It would be cool to expand on the story, but it's also good to keep it as it is.
2564912 The best I can think of right now is a collection of short stories that take place shortly after the events in AF. Nothing big or intricate.
