So people have been arguing which show is better. This is not a list for that. This is who is stronger.
Now here we go, strongest characters from the last airbender AND legend of korra.
Spoiler warning; this is up to date of season 3 of legend of korra, to those who haven't seen it yet. I there has not been enough season 4 yet to really see the change of new characters

Well duh, because any sensible person would know that the original show has better characters and a better plot. And yet, I like LoK more.
I like the list, but Azula should definitely be number 6. She'd wreck the shit out of the people between her and Uncle Iroh.
I don't know man, bumi is a tough match along with zaheer

Wouldn't Avatar Wan be all-time powerful out of technicality? Kinda like Gol D. Roger is in One Piece?
This makes me want to see these characters fight against one another. *gasp!* Aang vs. Korra, holy shit! That'd be wicked. Impossible, but wicked.
I'd actually have to put Bolin and Mako high; Mako just a few places, while Bolin I would put higher than Gazan. He has his skills, he actually went toe to toe with him and did alright, and has handled himself better than most would.
you put zaheer behind Amon? honestly, Amon didn't seem exceptionally powerful except that he had the ability to spirit bend. I would have put him behind Azula
