I've been practicing Twine · 11:53pm Oct 18th, 2014
Trying to get back into the groove of making words happen (got maybe a couple hundred left in the current H+S chapter and it's ACTUALLY DONE) so I decided to give Twine a shot because I've always been interested. So, here is my very first ever Twine made to practice some rudimentary triggers and stuff (the basics of Twine are so ridiculously simple they don't require any practice at all)
Enjoy! - warning: contains naughty words
EDIT: How do you change the bio underneath the avatar on your userpage? The whole modules thing made me completely lose how to change it, because that particular bio seems to not be affected by the Bio module.I am not 24 anymore. I know, I know, I am a stupid =(
Go to "Edit Account" and modify the text box labelled "Short Bio."
i have no clue what i just read.
So this Twine... perfect for rendering a CYOA, yes?
2541856 Nope, doesn't change anything T_T
2541862 There are two places where I get my ideas - the Harpflank and Sweets part of my brain and the Bearded Lust part of my brain - my practice drabs are usually wholly from the second
2541865 It's pretty great for those, yeah, because it's entirely based around hypertext. There's also Quest, however, if you're looking for a good CYOA program.
2541872 okay. i was just making sure that nobody put some drugs in my hot chocolate.
wtf is a twine c.c
This is amazing :D
How did you make this? Do you need to know how to code to do it?
2541872
Be sure that you also put in your password in the field just above the "Save" button when you make the changes. If that doesn't work...
Well, it should work.
2541900 2541914 whaaaaaaat I am amazed you don't know it - it's an interactive fiction thing (basically just a shitload of hypertext) that is INSANELY easy to use and has kind of exploded in the past year or two.
link is here, and no, you don't need to know how to code at all BUT you can use CSS for all the things you can use CSS for. But you can make, and people have made, amazing stories with just the absolute basics. Give it a shot!

Ohh, that... kinda makes sense. c.c I have enough trouble telling linear stories as it is.
2542224
Looks like a lotta fun. Might give it a go :D
That was an experience. I believe it was a positive one but give me some time to check. In the meantime I might reread your legend of the crystal pony blogs...
You will always be 24 inside your heart.
Oh man these things
I haven't touched one of these since my Culture and Technology class back in 2012.
I've always liked how punctuation always seems absurdly random in these.
2543013 Well, a lot of the people who use Twine like to play with format and stuff. Sometimes it is just random though.
