Quitting the Groups · 4:06pm Oct 15th, 2014

Well, since I don't check into Fimfiction as regularly as I once did, I'm starting to quit groups that I don't take particular interest in. It's a shame, but a necessity in some ways. Can't keep coming back and seeing 1,200 notifications on things that I'll probably never really check out. I like the communities in some of them, the topics and discussions are fun to follow but I rarely participate in. Once in a while I'll say something, but I think it's time to cut back.

That out of the way, most of you (or the few of you who read my blog) are wondering what's up with the stories. Well, let me tell you.

I am finishing TWO chapters for Semper Pie, which I am planning on releasing back-to-back. I will most likely publish both chapters on the same day within a few hours of each other. The thing is, after my last disaster with the chapter (and it was polished too!) I just haven't felt like rewriting most of it. I get halfway through and I get angry. So I started writing the next chapter and through that I managed to do both.

The Problem With Magic will also see a release quite soon. So, if you're following me because of that story, then you're in luck. I've gotten several PMs requesting that I finish the next chapter as soon as possible, and I've heard your demands, pleas, hate-mails (or is it tough-love-mails?) and what-not, so I've been typing away at that. I really, really am trying to get chapters out sooner.

For those of you who are following some of the other stories that are not these two, I apologize. This Is Cloudsdale! and From Eternia to Equestria will most likely see updates quite soon as they are beyond their lifespans now. Both fics were pre-Season 3 and are kind of too old now. They will end quite soon and I am hoping that I give them endings that will appease those who have waited for so long.

Now we come to the 'controversial' fic, The Eyes of the Creator. I know that most of those that originally read this story noted that it was marked as 'Complete' in the beginning. Well, I changed that and have put it on hold because after over 300 rewrites (and I am not exaggerating on that) the next chapter still isn't up to the mark I want it to be. The problem is in the logic behind the magic and science of it. However, I will state it that I have not given up on the fic, just wanting to make sure that it is decent enough. It would be an insult to the readers if I didn't do that much at least.

Finally, what's next? Well, actually I have three stories ready to be published. Now, before you get mad I already am aware that why bother making a new fic when I already have so many in the works? Well, the ideas were there and it seemed like a waste to let them go. So, I will probably be publishing one or two one-shots in the next couple of weeks and when I complete some of the other fics, I'll publish the others.
