Hello Everypony. I'm sure you're all familiar with the HUman in Equestria stories where a Cosplayer is at a convention and buys the ONE thing needed to complete their costume from someone dressed as the Resident Evil 4 Merchant, only to get transported to Equestria and Become the character they're cosplaying. Stories like Thadius0's series starting with Headless, not Heartless, Zman357's Son of Invention, DJSkywalker726's Ten Against One, among others.
Well, I myself have an idea for such a story, and for a character I've not Seen done yet: Kirigaya Kazuto, Better known as Kirito, from the anime Sword Art Online, in his SAO incarnation.
However, my idea also has some distinct differences:
Firstly, the Cosplayer purchases not only the transport Catalyst, in this case Kirito's swords Elucidator and Dark Repulsor, but also a 1:1 scale replica of Yui from Sword Art Online, that when the cosplayer is taken to Equestria, comes to life.
Second, the Cosplayer is taken back Farther than most other DIsplaced stories, back to the reign of the Royal Sisters' PArents and said sisters' filly/foalhood. Unlike other stories, the Displaced is not immediately branded a criminal, but rather does the sensible thing, and pledges his blades in service of the Crown as Guardian of the young Princesses. To accomplish this, the Displaced is given Longevity by the King and Queen upon explaining Humanity's short Lifespan compared to Alicorns.
THird, THe Displaced Asks that he be placed in a Stone Sleep after aiding in the defeat of Discord, only to be Awakened in a Crisis, citing that he can't always be around to hold Celestia and Luna's hooves, or else they won't learn anything. Yui is also Petrified as the Watcher of Kirito's Blades. an enchantment is placed on their Stone Resting Place by Starswirl the Bearded, at the request of Kirito, to ensure that only the Sisters can re awaken him (In this case, by first Awakening Yui, then placing the Swords in their sheathes on Kirito's statue). After the battles with Sombra and Nightmare Moon, this enchantment is expanded to awaken Kirito upon the return of Nightmare Moon.
FOurth, unlike most stories that take place around the time of Return of Harmony, my idea starts even at the First episode of the First Season.
ALso, this story DOES NOT have Anthro CHaracters
