I've gotten a few positive comments about the shipping overtones in Mystery Night in Ponyville, especially concerning the pairing of a particular animal lover with an equally particular steroid junkie. But then I see some of the new screenshots for Rainbow Rocks, and I notice that Bulkie is apparently the PhysEd teacher... at a high school in which Fluttershy is a student... Suddenly this ship got a lot more awkward. And potentially a lot less legal.
On the other hand, this ought to make for some interesting clopfics. Just don't ask me to write any.
Eh. The ages are so arbitrary it's stupid. Rainbow Dash is Weather Team Captain right beside the Everfree Forest, which is probably one of the hardest positions given the wild weather coming from there. Not the sort of thing you give to a rookie. Twilight Sparkle is a grad student of an esoteric field -- which would put her anywhere between 25-35 y/o. Rarity runs a fashion boutique, whole building, which means she's been doing the work for a while (assuming she built up her brand on her own). Applejack could be any age, but she seems to head the Apple farm (or at least is part-owner/operator). Pinkie Pie is Pinkie Pie, so she could be 50 for any of us know.
And Fluttershy could be young, but she could also be a bit older than that. Hard to say. But Hasbro wants to target girls that glamorize the HS life (which will last until they're in HS, at which point they'll glamorize the college life, which will lead to glamorizing the young professional life, which will lead to nostalgia about HS and earlier).
So, take the whole age thing with a grain of salt.

Your story isn't human. Maybe you should watch Rainbow Falls again and keep the two universes separate. EQG as they keep saying isn't canon to the ponyverse of MLP even if it has pony Twilight. AU is AU.

And come on, Fluttershy on top of the bar as he's lifting and watching her plot while she stares at places she shouldn't be? Those two are adorable together. Ponyverse they are legal. RD alone is between 21 (if you count the candles she's blowing out AROUND the cake she's 37) so yeah~, I think you're safe.
2468107 In S1, there was a theory that Pinkie Pie was around before the making of Equestria. Dunno why they came up with that, since RD and them all saw the same Rainboom, though Dash admits there was one before her own, so it's said Pinkie Pie may have seen the very first ever Sonic Rainboom BEFORE RD was even born.
S1 days were weird. But funny seeing all the silly stuff people came up with back then.
