Hey! This post is just to let people what I'm working on for the next chapter. As you all probably know by now, the doozy was the so-called 'doctor's' escape from prison. It was really fun reading through all the different theories on the doozy before chapter 7 went out, and I'm glad that it was well received afterwards.
As I mentioned in the author's notes at the end of that chapter, chapter 8 will focus on this escape, as well as the events leading up to it. It's also going to establish his motivations. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea how to make create a believable prison escape plan. Therefore, I've determined that the best course of action would probably be to base the doctor's escape off of a real-life event. Currently, the escape is based off of the June 1962 escape attempt from Alcatraz- with some modifications, of course.
In other news, I'm trying to get into a schedule of releasing a new chapter at least every fortnight. Of course, seeing as we're approaching 3 weeks since chapter 7 went out, this isn't working out so well as I'd planned
. In any case, chapter 8 should hopefully only take a few more days to write.
Finally, it seems that PP has attracted quite a few people, including some who have MPD/DID in real life! In fact, over 1000 people have favourited this story so far! Thank you all so much! I'm glad that you're all enjoying this story.
i would make it a situation of circumstance. perhaps that something came from the everfree or something and ended up wrecking part of the jail allowing him to escape.
Damn, this doctor is straight up batshit crazy. He's legitimately breaking out of prison to find, brutally torture, and potentially kill some
