So, let's discuss scheduling! · 2:46am Aug 14th, 2014
Well, I wonder how well my new fic is goi-
*Sees that there has been 26 faves in the first two days.*
... Wow! Woundsalt struggled to get over ten in the first two days! Holy crap, guys!
Nice to know you guys are loving it. So much in fact, I'm debating with myself what my new schedule is going to be. So I'll leave it to you guys to decide! Should I:
A Write one chapter of Woundsalt and then one ERRA, as I originally planned. Because there should be no favourites.
B Do two ERRA chapters for every Woundsalt, which is oh so tempting
C Two Woundsalts for every ERRA. Hey, we have the above option, why not the opposite?
You may have noticed that there is no option to get rid of anything. That'll NEVER be the plan.
You've got more views and favorites on your new story than Woundsalt did during it's initial release because you're better known on the site. You've got 21 followers, which means that you are almost guaranteed 21 views on ERRA, if not 21 favorites. You're also known to respond to comments and feedback with little pause or delay, which gives us (the readers) the impression that you really, really care about what you write. That makes us want to follow you and see what you write next. It's a good attitude to use when handling comments and I deeply wish that everyone on the site displayed the same amount of exuberance to comments as you do.
And personally I love reading Woundsalt, but I wouldn't want it to hinder your progress on ERRA, so I vote for the first option. Of course, it's ultimately your decision on what to do, but here's my two cents on that.
I vote for option one.
