My struggles continue, probably for the last time. Once again, this is personal venting, so don't feel obliged reading it and wasting your time on something that doesn't concern you. You have been warned.

Yesterday, my cat got worse. His wounds opened and this time, after more throurough diagnose, he had to take surgery. It was handled today, while I was at work. I got a phone call, saying that it's more serious than they expected, and it was either trying, giving him months of recovery for a slight chance that he would be relatively fine, but not even nearly as good as he was... or all would be for nothing, we'd lose time, money, nerves, and most importantly, my cat would suffer all the way, unable to properly walk, eat or even defecate by himself. So I made the final call and decided it was time to put him down.
After 15 years of being the most awesome cat ever, on top of being my best friend and brother I never had, he is no more. I can't stop crying. And I won't, not today at least, and probably not this week either. We were ready for the worst, by which I mean we weren't nearly as prepared. You never are. And now, my room is pretty much empty, aside from furniture, computer, tv, bunch of ponies, video games, board games, books and other stuff, but it lacks the soul it had for the last 15 years.
So yeah, expect the delay to be even longer now. It was going so good too, the chapter is 95% ready, but it won't be finished for some time once again. Unless I use writing as therapy, who knows, maybe it'll work?
On an unrelated note, I finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy. That movie is epic and everyone should see it, even if you hate Marvel movies. I'm going to go see it again today, maybe that'll cheer me up. Probably won't, but if talking tree and racoon with guns won't help me right now, I dunno who will.
