5) Mystery
Saying that the Season three ending of MLP is a divisive topic amongst the fandom is sort of like saying that World War One was a bit of a tiff, but despite however much we'd like to put any debate of 'mysteries' behind us, I still think this is a relevant tag for stories that doesn't really fit into any of the currently available categories.
4) Drama
The middle ground tag for stories that are neither tragedies or comedies. Considering we already have the extreme tags of Tragedy and Random, it's puzzling why we don't have this bit of middle ground.
3) Parody
It would save authors a lot of grief if they could just put a 'Parody' tag on their stories to better showcase the intent of their work rather than just having to repeatedly tell their audience not to take their story too seriously.
2) Sci-Fi
Don't look at me like that, I've seen more than a few fimfiction stories that got spaceships involved...
1) Friendship
How in the name of Celestia's blazing sun is this not an available tag? I have to assume that the people who created this site watched the series and I really hope that they know the title of the show and the message behind it, so why are we stuck with just Romance? Yeesh...
Yes! So much yes. I would dearly love to be able to search and sort by those catagories.
Another one that's needed is a separate tag to differentiate between HiE/PoE stories and humanized stories. Even with the existence of the "Humanized Ponies" group, it's hard to find a good humanized fic due to the sheer number of HiE stories.
I would also appreciate a second-person tag. I don't like second-person stories unless they're choose-your-adventure stories, and not all authors make it clear in the description that a story is second-person.
What does a "friendship" tag even mean?
Look if you want Drama go to Tumblr and on any post say you respectively disagree boom their is your drama
I can attest to the desperate need for a parody tag.
We do have a Friendship tag! We just call is Slice of Life, because Friendship is life. No not Shrek, Friendship. Friendship is magic, Friendship is life.
