It's... been a while. Yes, last time I was here I'd gone for a hiatus after finishing up Trial 2 almost 5 months ago. In retrospect, taking a long break from writing was definitely something I needed, as otherwise I was in danger of burning out. December was a busy month for me, both work-wise and personally, with sorting out things for Christmas and such, meaning I'd had hardly a chance to get any writing done. January rolls around and I finally get a chance to take some time off work to sort out various things, including cranking out that next chapter.
