I must apologize,
My writing goes slow. I'm caught in a trap of my own devising as it were.
Upcoming material for An Apple Studded Diamond has a Big Mac POV sequence with a back reference for unfinished material from Mac's Tale II: The Blood of Apples. I'm currently working through the long delayed third chapter of that piece to get to the link material to move forward with ASD. And I'v gone and got myself in a dialogue based snare that is taking some time to fix as reality keeps intruding on my recreational time, and I end up getting de-stress-tracted.
So now that I'm back home from my one day off this week and getting all my bloody errands run, I'm actually going to try to get some recreational writing done.
Again sorry about the delays, c'est la vie.

When it comes to slow writing, I'm in no position to be pointing fingers (or hooves).
Hey, as long as the story is not completely abandoned I welcome any news on it.
So is Mac's Tale 1 and 2 in the same universe in your mind as your other tale Apple Studded Diamond, or are they in different universes from one another? Also got done reading both Mac's Tale and it's sequel, so I will post my theories on where the story is going later :D
2314847 The stories are all in the same universe.
There have been two Mac back-story references in ASD. The first is actually from Mac's POV from Ch.5 'Endeavor To' but is ambiguous enough to go unnoticed. The scene between Twilight and Silver at the end of ASD Ch.10 'And Kindness' is the second, and more direct. Twilight knows things about what has transpired that the reader and Silver don't, but to which I didn't elaborate on at the time, because of the 'Pinkie Promise' involved, hence her cryptic answer to Silver.
When I realized the next back story reference is coming from Mac's own POV and has to do with his more direct feelings as they relate to his character, I found that I needed to go back and fill in the gap I left before I could move forward.
'sall good
