It's funny how alot of pairs and combinations have been done, but a few are either never attempted, or were tried and abandoned repeatedly. I'm more aware of the Trixie side of this, so here's my thoughts on a few that either i'm surprised I have not seen, or I think would be good to finally see done. Mind you, i'm not talking about short one-shots, clops with no real story, or stories that only have like, 400 word chapters and the whole thing is only 2k in length. Though very little of each of these seem to exist for these pairings as it is.
Trixie x Maud "Mauxie? similar to 'moxie' when spoken?" : Only seen one attempt on this so far, and it has issues, some potential, but issues. Trixie did spend time at a rock farm, doesn't necessarily mean Pinkie's families, but it could work out pretty well I think. Trixie's odd and eccentric personality tempered by Maud's quiet and emotionless behavior could be a good blend. I'd also put Pinkie's other sisters in this, but there have been a few fair attempts at some of them, and really, they have no personality in the MLP world yet, as they've never had more then a few seconds of screen-time, so no real personality to go off of.
Trixie x Chrysalis "Trixalis" or, maybe "Chryxie" : Seen one kind of attempt at this 'Madam Butterfly', though Trixie just thought it was herself from another timeline. It was pretty interesting, but has not updated in over a year. I kind of like this pairing more then a few others that haven't been done. Trixie's narcissism and the ability of changelings to shift to those ponies they love gives great potential. Personality-wise? Eh, they'd need work, circumstances that require them to be together maybe, those kind of tropes. IMO anyways.
Trixie x Night Mare Moon "Trixiemoon? No clue" : Night Mare Moon, not a ton of character, and not seen in forever *short of comics from what I hear*, but still very viable pending on your thoughts on what happened to her when she was separated by Luna. Strong personality, stubborn, wants to be the strongest and the most powerful Alicorn out there, works well with Trixie I'd say. Many possible routes with this one.
Trixie x Sombra "Trixbra" "Somtrix': They do kind of work together, specially if you link Sombra to the Alicorn Amulet, considering they both could use dark magic, it could make sense. I could see this working pretty well, and not nearly as much of a need for tropes to link them up.
Trixie x Pinkie "Pixie" : Trixie's been shipped with every member of the mane six but this one. I've seen multiple attempts from writers to make this work, and they've all cancelled and abandoned the attempt. Only one has ever been finished, and that was only a story that showed journal entries, eliminating a lot of the problems with showing them interacting or anything. I do understand why though, asides from being entertainer's, they are very different personality-wise, and making a romance work out between them in any realistical sense would be very problematic.
Trixie x Celestia "Trixlestia" "Celxie, or maybe Cexie" : There is potential here for me to have missed some of these, alot of romance stories have the Celestia and Trixie tag in them, but the descriptions make no mention of them as a pair. At best, they would be a side pair in these stories I suppose. The only story I know of to date for Trixlestia is 'Royal Pleasures', a clop fic with a ton of story and detail in it. It is kind of a favorite of mine, despite many issues and errors it has. I've been working on making an outline for one of these myself actually, though it'll be awhile.
That's enough I think, admittedly, there are alot of other ones out there not done 'more likely crack ships though' but they don't interest me much *yeah, no Zecora x trixie is out there either, but I don't really care much about Zecora ships myself.* Sadly, I think I've seen Trixie more shipped with Scootaloo then with any of those mentioned.

Trixie x Pinkie could work. Let's see... mid-season one, Pinkie receives a letter from Maud (who is still working at the farm) who explains about their recent employee, Trixie, who is suffering from deep ennui, loss of purpose, and generally acting like her soul got crushed under the paw of a star-bear. Maud is distraught (in her own way) to see this, and wants Pinkie to help Trixie, because cheering up ponies is what Pinkie does best. Pinkie tries her usual tactics, but soon realizes that Trixie is suffering because she can't follow her True Purpose. To help her, Pinkie must now delve deep into the wounded showmare's psyche, and in so doing realizes that there is a beautiful, gentle pony beneath the facade, whom she fall for.
Trixie x Sombra, I dunno. Perhaps some lingering effect of the Amulet upon her, tying her fate to his, plaguing her with nightmares. To be free, she must now seek out his last remaining essence and break the bond, but little does she know that he's been waiting for a thousand years for the one pony daring enough to break the curse of the shadow...
Also, how about Trixie x Discord? You can't say that those two are seeing a lot of attention together. I mean, there was one where Celestia kicked him out of the castle to make more friends and supposedly he'd hook up with Trixie, but it was cancelled. Shame.

Yeah, those are great scenario's, I didn't make a full list of un-shipped trixie's, so I forgot to put DIscord on the list. Heh, I guess we just haven't seen much of Trixie being shipped with villains at all really. There is the occasional Trixie x Sunset Shimmer fic, most of those are short and/or unfinished from last I saw. And Gilda x Trixie fics are small, but for the most part done really well and alot more often then her other villain pairings.
I do like the Pinkie x Trixie one you thought up though, makes some good sense and lets Maud at least be a side character.

Heh, maybe in a year or two when your fic is done one of these can be your next project.
