Just a small update on my existence for those wondering. Still here, but I kind of got caught up in things with real life and also lost the interest to write for a bit, which is annoying because I was ecstatic at all the new follows Complex Apartments brought in. 
So, I figured I would get back into pony by doing something I said I would do over a year ago; clean up and revise Hopes and Follies. As of this moment, I am about halfway through. Hopefully I will be done by sometime next week and then I'll see which of my projects I want to pick up again first.
Major changes have been adding in Twilight's castle to make the story right after Tirek as opposed to before him. I have also added to some of the dialogue, mostly between Celestia and others. A lot of touch up work has happened, including the elimination of some errors.
So, that is about it. Right now, I think I am going to look at a revised ending to "Gryphon Empire" so I can check that story off of my list of things to fix finally. After that, all I need to worry about are updates and when I am going to do the next Mauxie story.
I'm excited! I love your work and I hope the bug comes back. Best of luck in writing what your want, though. :)

Well, I certainly would enjoy a new mauxie story, but if we're really lucky revising "Hopes and Follies" will inspire you to continue the sequel.
I am eagerly awaitng the return to the Hopes and Follies universe keep up the good work.
