Fix your headcanons. 
This happened thousands of years ago, yet Celestia's mane is still prismatic. I know the idea comes from the book in season 1 episode 1, which shows Celestia as having pink mane at the banishment:
But we also saw the banishment:
So the book is wrong.
I'm not saying that you should go back into your old stories to fix them. No, keep them as is. But when you write a new one... just please... don't write Celestia with pink hair, unless Celestia is a filly, or the scene is in pre-Discord era, or put an Alternative Universe tag on it.

My theory: they did pink mane to simplify. Luna's mane is also non-galaxic.
