Fluttershy has always wanted to give more of her kindness towards ponies. However, her shyness impedes her speaking, which makes her hard to express herself. After asking for her help, Pinkie Pie teaches Fluttershy to communicate with physical interactions instead, like hugs.

It works so well that Fluttershy decides to hug every pony in Ponyville.

Pinkie Pie has never thought that one day, she would turn out to be a legendary healer-mage. As she begins to discover and tame her new-old abilities, a corrupted member of her order assaults Canterlot with an army of dark creatures and takes over the throne. Crying fills the once joyful Equestria, while their new ruler finds delight in the suffering of his subjects.

Pinkie Pie is the only one who has the power to heal the destruction of this tyrant, and she devotes herself to keep ponies from losing their hope. However, she has to ask herself, "How will you keep smiling in a world fallen into despair?"

The reading of the prequel (1.5k words) is optional, and is summarized in the first chapter.

One day, Fluttershy started coughing heavily. Her friends brought her into the hospital, and to their horror, the doctors diagnosed an advanced lung cancer in Fluttershy’s body. Pinkie Pie can’t accept that her friend has to die, and locks herself in her room. Months pass, and now Fluttershy only has a few hours left. She wants to see Pinkie Pie once more.

Nine months after the defeat of Heimdallr, Fluttershy finally lives a peaceful life among her friends. However, she is still a Dragonlord, who has sworn to protect those who can't protect themselves. A building that caught on fire forces Fluttershy to obey her oath, and use her abilities to save a young filly from it.

When Twilight and Spike meet the sad and real Pinkie Pie at the table outside, Spike makes a test based on his memories of 'Party of One'. Pinkie Pie passes the test at that time, and this results a completely different outcome for the whole story.

In this version, there will be no Pinkie clone genocide.
