So, I'm sitting here, typing up the next chapter of Rise of the Elements at like 3 in the morning, (telling myself that I should probably get some sleep before I drop dead) when about 3 notes show up saying that someone fav'd What now. That's when I realize that I haven't updated that story in like, two weeks. I also realize that the deadline for the competition is in about 3 weeks. I don't want to boast, 
but I'm pretty sure that I might win, but only if I can finish it.
So, I slap myself real quick for forgetting about it, and zoom over to docs to check my manuscript and notes. And that's when I realize a third thing; I stopped because I don't know where to go from here! Don't get me wrong, I've got an ending all planned and ready, (I, at least, managed to not break the most fundamental rule of writing, yay me!) but I'm stuck at what to do with Spikina, and Dragondash, until we reach that point.
I just need some fillin' for mah donut, some cheese in mah orange, some normal everyday events for them to go through until they reach a certain point.
Basically I need a few ideas on some events for the two to go through. Call it a mental block, or lack of inspiration if you want, but I'm calling it taking advantage of the fact that I have helpful readers (because I'm blocked up like a toilet filled with bad report cards right about now.) So please all of you potentially helpful persons, help a brony out and toss some ideas my way?

For ideas, there's Spike spending the girly day with Rarity and possibly being pushed into some kinda date with a stallion. Like, maybe Rarity was setting up some kind of double date and one of the mares backed out and she gets the brilliant idea of pushing Spike to take her place.
As for Dash, she could get a taste of dragon greed. She might even purposefully induce it if she remembers how Spike grew into a massive, powerful dragon because of it.
Spike, as a dragon, could maybe attempt to try to fly, which is what dragons do, but him being so young means he couldn't before. (Does that make any sense?)
As for Rainbow Dash, maybe Twilight would purposefully try to torture her by making her work as her assistant like Spike normally does.
Rainbowdash remembers that she had tickets to a wonderbolt show, then takes spikemare to the show with Shim, Spikemare gets attention by a wonderbolt A.K.A Soarin. Then gets asked out on a date infront of Rainbowdash. lol
(Just saying but Rise of the Elements remind me of Rise of the guardians lol
