I hope you folks like long chapters, 'cause that's what you're about to get. Sweet Celestia on a unicycle, it's been so long since I did a timeskip in a story that I'd forgotten just how much you have to sum up for readers when you do it!
Oh, well. At least I managed to fight through it and get to the main course of the chapter without ripping my hair out. That being said, I'm done complaining. I should be able to fly through the second part of this chapter
If you're wondering "gee, how long is it at this point?" I'm currently at around 6300 words. And I haven't started the second part of it.
Twilight Sparkle would be quite pleased.
